The shelves were more than red, so it doesnt match the other furniture I have. The shelves also are not solid wood, but they have a nice weight to them. This was easy to assemble, although I did have two of the legs backwards and had to undo almost everything to fix it. The instructions are janky illustrations, but easy to follow. Not as easy as people say.
