We purchased this as a duplicate to the one we already have, which we purchased a few years back. Loved the quality and space it gives to the smaller bedrooms, sad to say this one arrived damaged. The package was torn open and a chunk of wood was missing off the outward facing board of the bed. Rather than deal with return we figured we could live with it, continued to open more of the box to find other end supports split and cracked. Continued on to find non-matching F boards that are part of the supporting end pieces.
Very sad to see multiple issues with this bed, as we already have one and absolutely love it.
There is one piece of the bed that will not stay attached. The little piece on the back that stabilizes the rail. Also it could use about 2 more pieces for the mattress to not fall through. I purchased extra from Lowes. I just feel it couldve been about $50-75 less. However, my son loves his big boy bed! Long time to assemble. But worth the time.
Directions could be better and in better order. More slats for the mattress so it would be more sturdy would be a great idea. Otherwise a good bed for your money. They Look perfect in my quest room
The bed is great, solid materials, but the entire thing is put together with a hex key. It took my husband and I are both skilled craftsmen and it took us three hours to get this thing put together securely. I highly recommend getting a hex key set for a hand drill to fully secure the pieces. Great piece of furniture, but be forewarned that it is difficult to assemble. Comfortable Easy assembly

Im a little worried that in the futre it will break through. I bought for my granddaughter in another state. Looked very nice
