Dents, scratches covered up with what looks like it was covered with a marker noticeable as service person assembled bed. Otherwise a nice bed. I dont think itll last more than a few years!

    Great value!

Solid wood and sturdy. Took about 3.5 hours to assemble by myself but the instructions were easy to follow. Of course needed help lifting the top bunk into place. Looks great and would highly recommend! Great Buy

    My kids love it!

Great quality bed and looks great! it was also very easy to assemble. Both of my boys really like it. They are 9yrs and 5yrs old. We had it set up as a bunk bed but they have decided to separate rooms now so what is cool is that we can take the top bed off and it can now serve as its own bed in a separate room. We arent stuck with a bunk bed forever, that is a great feature of this item, perfectly fine with it

    good and bad

I purchased the Graphite version of this bunk bed and wanted to share my experiences The negatives: First, Ive never purchased a product that has smelled this bad for so long. Perhaps other colors dont have this problem. I put this together three weeks ago, and my sons room still smells because of the bed. I wish it were warm enough to open the windows. Second, putting this together was no joy. I wouldnt say its complicated, but it takes time (a lot of time, for me with kids helping/distracting, it was the better part of a day), patience, and most definitely two people for various steps of the process. Nearly all the parts go together with an Allen wrench thats included. Thanks to that little guy, my index fingers and thumbs hurt for three days. Third, I purchased 5 memory foam mattresses for both bunks. After spending 10 minutes in the full bed reading with my kids, I could feel the slats through the mattress. For children I doubt its an issue. But as an adult, I could never sleep in this bed in its current condition. You must either purchase a different mattress, or purchase and install a solid base or additional different slats. The positives: The bed is sturdy and well built. I dont have any concerns about my kids sleeping in this bunk bed. They have no issues getting in and out of the bed or with using the ladder. The bed looks great. The graphite is a nice color, and a welcome change if you are tired of furniture that is either white or espresso. For this price, I think the bunk bed is a great value.

It was easy to put together

My daughter loves it! It was easy to put together. BUT I do not recommend doing it alone. Im a single mom and I didnt think I needed any help. I mean, Ive put things together by myself before, so a bunk bed? Easy peasy! Yeaahh, I woke up the next day to sore muscles, back pains, and somewhat sore, swollen fingers from the L wrench that came with it. I had no trouble following the directions but when it was time to assemble the top bunk, that was the real challenge, trying to keep all the top heavy pieces together using my head and shoulders while screwing and tightening every bolt and screw. Took me 4 hours to put it all together. It was worth it, though. My 4 year old daughter slept in it that very night, and I finally had my bed back / not that it matters, I usually pass out on the couch. I am very pleased so far

    Sturdy and easy to assemble

This bunk bed was very easy to assemble with clear directions and all parts were packaged nicely. It took me about 2 hours with my 4 and 5 yr olds helping. To speed up the process I used a drill with the hex bit. Some of the screws have to go in pretty far and with the supplied allen key, it was a pain. It seems very sturdy once assembled, the top bunk fits on the bottom with very large wooden dowels so you can unstack later on if needed. The box was pretty big, obviously, and weighed in around 120 lbs as I recall. Having someone to help you move it around is nice. When you unbox, there are a lot of pieces, so its nice to have an open area to lay things out for inventory. All the hardware comes packaged together and labeled nicely which I was very grateful for. The ladder is sturdy, and it can be screwed in place, however, that makes it very difficult to make the bottom bed, so we left it unscrewed. Other than that, I think this is a pretty sweet deal. Overall its a quality bunk bed at an even better price. We havent had it up for too long, so well adjust this review as necessary. Just follow the instructions and youll be fine!!

    Great quality and sturdy

Great quality and sturdy!! Some issues with bolts with faulty threading, but nothing you cant get from a local hardware store and it was only one or two out of the entire bunch. Easy to follow instructions, clearly labeled pieces, i made this by myself!! (single mom with tools!) GREAT LOVE IT!!!
