I bought this so that I could sleep multiple guests. Thus has been a great addition to my guest room. It is like have a bunk room in a very small space. I added memory foam mattresses and my guest live it! Lots of space.
I ordered this bed set for my twin grandsons. I figured the loft beds would avoid any fights over who got the top bunk (my 3rd and younger grandson gets the bottom bed). I ordered the version, but received the wood version, which was fine with me (the wood version was more expensive, but I was only charged the version price). The assembly was a bit time/consuming (lots of parts, and some of the screw placements are a bit awkward to work with), but everything fit, and no parts were missing. The only problem was that the bed was 3 too long for our room (shared with their dad). The solution was to downsize my son from a queen mattress to a full mattress, and then it fit fine. We decided to put 3/8 plywood on the slats to form platforms for the mattresses, because the slats dont reach close enough to the ends of the frames to prevent the mattresses from sagging at their head or foot. The slats are sturdy enough to support the weight of the mattresses otherwise.
Those were the only issues we had. Otherwise, we are very happy with the beds. The wood is good quality and nicely stained and finished, and the beds are sturdy and attractive. Notice in the photo that one ladder is completely vertical, and the other stands away from the bed at a slant. The slanted ladder seems to be easier for my grandsons, age 6, to climb, though they both use both ladders. The boys are still small enough that they can sit up on the bed without hitting their heads against the ceiling, but that will change as they grow. There is plenty of room under the beds for shelving along the wall and a kid/size table and chairs, so they have made a lot of floor space available, which is nice. If you have the floor space to fit the beds (be sure to measure your space, you need 120 on the long side), I think you would be very pleased with them. My boys are delighted with them. Easy build,
Ill just sum it up because I hate to read long reviews:
Im 53 and assembled by myself
Easy to assemble
Bigger than expected
Its 2 boxes not 1
Only dislike / My 1st box came 2 weeks after the 1st one
I have 3 active boys so will update for my parents with active kids Fit well,
Perfect , easy to assemble , space saver , and sturdy for my monkeys (4,5,7) they love having their own space but still being together ! Definitely a win with this purchase ! At Ease.
when i first opened the boxes for this bunk bed (it came in 2 boxes) i was overwhelmed, and cracked open some white claws. (the ease of putting it together actually blew me away, and the white claws were a bit overkill in retrospect.) i was skeptical on how sturdy it would be, because i have 3 boys; an 11 year old, 8 year old, and 3 year old. i also have a 6 year old step/daughter, and they are collectively the reasons we cannot have nice things. this bed has held up nicely, and the kids absolutely love it. with the amount of times this bed has been used in intense games ofthe floor is lava i am confident i have gotten my moneys worth. just buy the bed, you wont regret it. Definitely worth it.
Product arrived on time, as expectedthough it did come in two separate shipments that were approximately 1.5 days apart. Instructions were easy to follow, though some of the labels in the diagrams were difficult to read. Instructions had a hardwareguide to help identify exactly which items were needed from the hardware bubble/packs. This definitely requires at least 2 people to assemble / the loft section needed to be supported while being assembledcould not have done this with just one person. You will want to have a bit/driver / portable drill available to speed up the assembly process. The one supplied hex/wrench is helpful, but it is not aspeedy tool. Took around 6 hours to fully assemble in the bedroom where it will be used. The assembly time and the need for a second person resulted in my assembly rating being below 5 stars. 4 Stars for theoverall rating because 2 key bolts were missing from the hardware packthe 2 bolts that were left for us to use were too short. Hoping to pick up replacements at the localbox store. Good one.

Seems very solid! Relatively easy/to/follow instructions.

My kids love it! It did take me 3 hours to assemble, but I was doing it alone. Seems very sturdy! Nicely made.
