Product arrived with a large crack on its side. Rather than go through the hassle of boxing and shipping a heavy item, we chose to repair it ourselves. This involved gluing, clamping, sanding, and staining.
This is not easy to assemble. Took hours for various adults to put it together (some of us gave up and moved on to other tasks) and when my husband attempted to attach the seat, the holes were stripped so we have a bench that looks great but the seat/lid is inoperable.
This is at the end of our bed. It is beautiful and I love it. Design is perfect. Very sturdy and comfortable to sit on to put shoes and socks. We store socks in storage freeing up drawer space. Thank you. Better than 1 I saw for twice thebprice at big box store.
