    Great lift chair

I love my lift chair it was a blessing, I had to sleep in it for a month because I had a shoulder replacement. Very comfortable

    Early Impressions

The chair was delivered promptly and within the time frame requested. Assembly out of the box was relatively straight forward, but the unit is quite heavy. All the functions performed as advertised once connections were made and the transformer was powered up. The lift function will certainly make getting out of the chair to stand up much easier. The fabric covering seems durable and the position control pad is easy to read and understand. Unfortunately, after less than 30 minutes of sitting, I was dismayed by how sore my bad hip joint felt due to the firm seat cushion. I will need to investigate the addition of an auxiliary seat cushion to reduce the pressure point on my hip joints.

    Heavy duty and comfortable

I was having trouble getting up from my chair. This lift enables me to easily stand up without much effort. It is vey comfortable and the larger size is great!

    BZttery backup available.

Bought it for my 94-yr old father. He loves it. Only thing we didnt know is there is a battery backup that we ordered separately. Wish we had known that at time of chair order.

Warning, the color is actually dark grey/gun metal with firm cushioning.

Look at my pictures to see the actual dark grey/gun metal color of the product. just copied the information from the official Ashleys Furniture website that made a mistake by possibly acquiring a bad photo. I verified this issue with Ashleys Furniture customer support that walked over personally to inspect the recliner in their warehouse. There is only one product SKU number and thus, no other colors available. The product is well built with a suede like polyester cloth covering. It contains four motors along with a 10 button remote for independent movement to achieve the perfect position. Many other power lift recliners use just two buttons for all adjustments without lumbar or head rest adjustments. Comfort will depend if you need or like firm cushioning. I purchased this recliner for my 89 year old father after he went through hip joint replacement surgery. He complained about pain when sinking on soft mattresses and soft seat cushions that compressed on his appendage. But I know that after two months, when the pain subsides, he will prefer a softer cushion and I hope the cushions will get softer overtime. I personally found it too hard for me to stay on comfortably for a long time and would find it hard to sleep on. The worst part is that I expected a brown or espresso color to match the rest of the decorations in the room. I needed something delivered quickly and service is the best when you have Prime membership with two-day delivery. They also offered to exchange or return the sofa so I could get the right colored recliner. At first, I decided to keep the recliner for my fathers urgent need overlooking the color, but I may return it because of the firmness on all the cushions that I believe will become an issue later.
