    Great purchase

I got this for my son when we moved. It was not hard to put together. It looks great too. My only issue is it doesnt have anything to hold the mattress in place. But its not a huge deal. The mattress doesnt move much so its not a huge deal. Just giving it for FYI

    Aming assembly and perfect bed

I never leave review but Im going to because Im so impressed with this bed. I previously had an Ikea bed and over several moves and taking it apart it was getting worn. (Ikea quality is very cheap) This bed looked attractive and simple so I bought it not looking forward to putting it together. I am shocked how easy it was to put together! It actually was fun. I applaud the engineers on making this bed! Any one could assemble this bed everything just snaps together so easily. Took me about 45 minutes by myself. I love everything else about the bed but I still just cant get over how aming it was to put it together. oh and the rachet tool for the bolts it included was genius. So much better than the stupid Ikea hex tool they give you. Buy . you wont regret it!

Exactly what we were looking for

Wed been going back and forth about what to do for our kids beds. We had just upgraded our toddler to a big kid bed on the floor, and had put him in the room with bubba, whos bed was already off the ground. The mattress we got for both boys / a full size from Sams / is, unfortunately, extremely thick. With our eldest, with a basic frame and normal box spring, the mattress sat high enough that he needed a step stool to get up to it. My thought to avoid that need now with the younger was to opt for a lower platform frame, providing more storage underneath and a lower overall height for the bed. Unfortunately, most platform frames I found had complaints of quality control issues or of squeakiness over time. Many were not compatible with the bed rails we had. Most had compatibility issues with headboards, which was something we wanted to consider as well. So we figured, okay; well buy another cheap frame and get a low profile box spring instead of a tall one. Brother will want to match too, but we can still use his frame. Should be fine. Then I looked at prices. For reasons I cant fathom, low profile foundations are double the price of their thicker counterparts, even within the same brand and line. No way am I going to shell out 500 on two box springs. After some discussion and research, we finally settled on this: a platform frame with a built in headboard. And we settled on this one in particular for the price, the brand, the reviews, the speed of delivery, and the cushioned headboard (needed for rambunctious and injury/prone children). We got one to try out before ordering a matching one for the elder brother. Pros: / Setup was more involved than I expected, but wasnt difficult. The kids helped put it together. / Its sturdy. No wobbling. No squeaking. / Its tall, which was important for the tall mattress. / It works with our bedrails. Because the top of the platform boards is flush with the frame, and because the width matches the width of the mattress, all of our bed rails work with this frame. / It looks good! / The kiddos love it. Cons: / Not surpassingly, the headboard is not thickly padded all the way through. However I was surprised at how thin the padding was. Its thin because the headboard is mostly hollow, housing all the components! Nevertheless, its thick enough to make a big difference compared to bumping your head on drywall. / Overall, it only reduced the height of the bed by about an inch compared to the frame+box spring. So for our tall mattress a step stool is still a requirement for the younger brother. / despite being tall, the way that it is constructed purposely limits the height of what can fit under the bed. Its maybe an inch more than the basic frame and box spring. Not a biggie, and it probably gives it better aesthetics. In the end, we love it and big brother, who just smacked his head on the drywall again last night, is excitedly awaiting the delivery of his own matching frame.

    Simple, beautiful and sturdy!

Ive waited a few months to make this review (I bought this in early November of 2021) to really give a fair opinion on this bedframe. The shade of blue is like a lighter wash color of blue jeans, with this textured feeling similar to a slightly rough denim, but loads more tolerable. I usually find myself rubbing a hand along the headboard when Im trying to go to sleep, to be honest with you. It just feels nice. The frame was incredibly easy to put together and I managed to do everything myself! Granted I always recommend more than just one person for anything/ mostly for safety and convenience sake/ but its not impossible. I do highly recommend to keep all screws loose and tighten at the end to make sure everything is where its meant to be. There hasnt been any creaking or worrying noises either, even after flopping myself down a few times (and weighing 230 something pounds) and having to move it around in its built state. Im currently sleeping on a 13 inch/ish mattress and I have to say that if youre not a fan of shorter headboards, then this might not be for you. You wont be able to rest your entire back and head against the firm cushion of the headboard, but as Im trying to avoid to use my bed like that anyways, Im not upset by it. I wanted a shorter headboard myself to keep the small space I have to work with more open and inviting and I think Ive succeeded with this purchase. The only flaw/ and I have to stress that it hasnt effected the structural integrity or quality in the slightest and I personally dont care about it/ is that one of the base, fabric boards is slightly off by about half an inch. Its the only one like that and because it is, I see it more of a quirk than anything else. Cant really complain about it with how cheap this bedframe is either. But I will be making it a 4 star review since it IS a flaw and not wholly perfect as it could be. The last thing is that, if you weigh it down with some sort of blanket or have a sheet on your bed, your mattress will not move or just maybe its the mattress I have. I hadnt noticed any issue with that at all but if you do, Ive seen that purchasing a cheap strip of velcro and attaching it to the underside of your mattress helps it stick in place. Cant confirm if it works but Ive read so many reviews about box/spring free frames that share the same issues so.theres that? I guess? All in all, I recommend this bedframe if youre on a (maybe medium end) budget and want something nice, upholstered and sturdy.

Great bed, backboard should be taller

Great bed except the backboard should be another row of boxes taller. Was a bit disappointed that when we placed our mattress on it, that it didnt look at all like the images on bc they used a very thin mattress in the images that I didnt see initially. Still a great quality bed though.okey
