A stylish chair in linen/grey fabric, smaller profile (retro look), and simple to put together out of the box. The chair isnt too heavy to carry and it glides well. It is comfortable but has very little padding on the seat//may not be comfy for long stretches. It also has a small seat area, If you are larger on the bottom you may not find this a good fit. I would say best for a smaller person (frame and height).
The chair is relatively basic, but it works well. The padding is relatively firm but comfortable, even for longer periods. The design is modern but not distracting. I like the fabric, which is relatively soft, but it does seem to have a tendency to bunch a bit in a few places and also isnt very stain resistant. Ive noticed a couple small threads stick out. As long as it wears well, well be very happy with this chair. It only has one adjustment: vertical height. But that also means that its much lighter than many similar chairs, which is nice. Assembly out of the box was very easy and took only five minutes. In all, Im quite satisfied.
ALERT/ RATING CHANGE/ I have an update at the end of this review. I was able to fix the problem after working on the chair. Fix listed in my update. I am leaving the original review here for you to see and then how it changed at the end
(ORIGINAL REVIEW)
I really wanted to have a chair to put in my sewing room to use with my serger. I was really expecting something useful and reasonably comfortable. I was not expecting it to be like it was.
WHAT IS THIS CHAIR LIKE
This chair comes in pieces and the idea is that you put it together. It is not overly difficult, so if you are not mechanically inclined, you should still be fine. The base has to have the wheels pushed into the spots for them. There is a piece that snaps over the base. Then you have to put the shaft in the base. After that, the seat rests on top of that. They do not hold together with any screws or other things.
The idea is that this chair height lifts up and also has a tilt feature.
HOW DOES THIS CHAIR PERFORM
I am not happy with this chair, plain and simple. It does not have a good tilt to the back/ sits upright a bit too much. The padding is not that comfortable, and the seating area itself is very small. If you are a large person, you may not fit in this chair. The top weight that this chair is designed for in the inserts is 250 lbs. I am thinking even smaller.
As for the tilt feature/ forget it. It does not work. We all turned the screw that is supposed to release the tilt feature and there was no change. No matter what we did there was no change in the tilt feature. We have a home maintenance guy in our house who is excellent and he could not get it to work. That really was frustrating. I need at least a little bit of tilt in my chairs and this did not tilt as it said it would, not even a little bit.
The lift works fine and the fabric is tough and appears relatively sturdy. It is not soft, but a bit rough. I did not expect anything different of the fabric, so that was not a deal breaker for me.
The wheels move okay on carpet, but most wheels are not marvelous on carpet, again, not disappointed in that.
THE BOTTOM LINE
This chair says top weight is 250lb, but I am thinking smaller. The seat area is very small, and the tilt feature does not work. The chair is not hard to put together, but with the frustration of no tilt and mediocre comfort, I just dont think it is worth it. I rather wish I did not get it.
MY RATING
Two stars because it has some merit, but not as much as I had hoped.
UPDATED REVIEW AND RATING
Although I still do not like this chair as much as I thought, I do like it a bit more than I originally did when I wrote this review. After being persistent to try to fix the rocking problem, I worked with the chair for quite a while. Then I discovered the problem. The lock bar on the bottom had been stuck into place. It did not unlock but it would raise the chair up. That is why I did not understand why it would not rock.
After working with the chair for a while, I was able to dislodge the stuck lock bar and now the chair does tilt enough to make it better. I would like it to tilt a bit more, but it is a LOT better than it was. The chair itself is adequately comfortable for what I want it for, so I am raising this up to four stars. I like it, but am not raving CRY about it.

FOUR STARS
I am a super tiny female, and my husband put the package inside the house on his way to work.and Im glad he did as it is heavy, and I would have had to open it outside, and bring pieces in. That being said, it was a breeze to put together! The components included are the chair seat, the adjustable tension base, five wheels, and the wheel base. The instructions were very little, but exact with pictures. You simply attach the wheels first by pushing the wheels into the hole provided until you hear a click. I had one wheel that took me a little while to get in, but otherwise I had no issue with it. The tension base went in next with to issue, and then the plastic cover went over the tension base down to the wheel area and covers the bottom area. That part is super plastic, and I can see that tearing up kind of easily so be gentle with it. The next step was simply putting the chair seat on the adjustable tension base, and that was it! Ready to go! The wheels are cry easy (I do have hardwood floors), and it moves smoothly with no resistance at all. Feels very heavy duty also in the wheel base area. The seat does go up and down, and that worked perfectly with no issues there either. It does have a tension area under the seat too that you can use to determine how much of a recline it gives you, and I honestly did not mess with that as the seat was already perfect for me. It does swivel all around, which is great as I have an L shaped desk, and can easily twist around to either side. My main reason for a missing star is because while the seat is very beautiful and matches my white and wood desk, it is also not that comfortable at all. The padding in the seat feels almost non existent, so if youre going to be sitting for a long while then I suggest looking for something different with more of an ergonomic feel to it. If youre looking for a chair that is aesthetically pleasing, then look no further, as it does look gorgeous, and works like a charm. Its just not as comfortable as it looked online. Again, and I am a small female, but the arm rest area does fit me perfectly also.
Very easy to put together. Like others said you really have to push the wheels in but they click. The wheels are good they move effortlessly with the chair. Comfortable and good back support for smaller people. This chair is definitely for small petite people. I am very comfortable and its a perfect fit at 5 2 but someone taller might not be as comfortable. I hope it holds up well. And is stylish most office chairs are ugly this one is cute.
Color was right on. Easy to assemble. Size perfect for (me Im 53.) also for my room. Only thing is its very stiff! Tried adjusting the back to give a bit when I sit back, unfortunately nothingback didnt adjust at all. Im disappointed in that seeing Im in it for awhile. Would have liked to take a break and lean back. Too stiff for me

Could be more comfortable
I like the look of the chair and was super simple to put together, but the seat is a little hard, but nothing a cushion cant fix
This should be a children chair
Chair is very nice but very small! Should be sold as a kids chair, no room for comfort.
