This product arrived very well/packaged and in perfect condition. This will add the perfect, rustic touch to the old bathroom, which was gutted and completely redone. I cant wait to see what it looks like installed. Its exactly what I was looking for.
This is about my 10th furniture purchase from so I have experience in assembling these types of things. This is the first one I about packaged up and returned. Half of the labels were not on the hardware pieces. Which is fine it is pretty easy to figure out what is what. Second some steps were missing from the instructions. Some diagrams were not super clear. The order in which it has you assemble certain parts made it difficult at times. Usually I can assemble something this size in one evening. I spread this out over a few days due to the frustration. As other reviews have stated DO NOT over tighten anything. Or even tighten for that matter. Sometimes the screws were not even in all the way and the board was starting to crumble. I have never experienced that with other products of this type I have purchased from . That leads me to believe the quality is just not there for this one. We will see how long it lasts. But the hassle of it and lack of quality it just isnt worth the price. I was so frustrated you can see from my pic I wasnt even finished assembling it when I wrote this review. Thats how fed up I was. But the design was exactly what I was looking for to suit my needs. So for now I will finish assembling it, cursing all the way and see how long it lasts. But think twice and look for other options before making this item your final purchase.
Expect that parts may be missing, I was short a couple screws but fortunately they were for a drawer and I was able to make it work. You will get splinters, screws will break up the wood. And dont forget your dowels, the instructions will not remind you. All that being said, the end product looks really nice, and Im really happy with it. Im using it as a nightstand and its perfect.
I bought this because of how cool it looks. Its not just a plain white or black cabinet. I bought it to hide my laundry supplies so it wasnt so cluttered.
Here are the pros:
/its sturdy. Ive had some that will just wobble no matter what you do to it.
/The metal frame and wood/look are a nice touch.
/The drawers are handy for small stuff.
And the cons:
/This sucker took some TIME to assemble. Im pretty handy, but this was a lot.
/Even though the size is nice, it literally only fits my detergent (the medium size bottle), fabric softener, bleach on one side, and my dogs food on the other (small/ish container).
/Because it is just a veneer over plywood, I dont anticipate this lasting a super long time. But like I said earlier, Im handy, so when it takes a shit, I will probably use the metal frame and replace the plywood with real wood.
Anyway, this is nice for what it is.
