Unfortunately there were some issues. The top of the deskin was chipped. Two of the guide rails for the drawer was crooked so the drawer doesnt fit properly. I guess the packaging wasnt that good.
Its too bad because I really like the desk. Nice size, color and pretty sturdy.
Desk came broken in 3 places, but they send out replacement parts right away and did not take long to come. Once the desk was put together was just what is shown in the picture and worked very well for what I needed.
It is your basic press/board type desk. Some of the connections needed a bit of effort to get them to stay in place and I wish I would have put it together right in the spot I planned to put it. I had to re/tighten things once I got it to place. With that said, I really appreciated they supplied extra parts for everything. of the bolts was slightly bent and I just used the extra they sent. It is those little thing that make life easier.
Great desk! Sturdy and the perfect size for what I needed. Easy to build, it even came with a screwdriver for you to use. All pieces were intact, nothing damaged, and easy to assemble. Overall, a great buy! I guess if I wanted to be nit picky there were some small dirt like smudges on a few of the pieces, but they came off super easy with a damp cloth.
This desk looks very nice. As some else stated all the holes line up correctly. A couple of tips for those who are considering purchasing this desk. If you dont have a ratcheting screw driver, buy . Everywhere there is a white nylon grommet there is a minifix bolt that goes into it using a philips head screwdriver bit. The ratcheting screwdriver will save you time and grief.
I dont know about others but it took me about 3 hours to assemble the desk. They even give you spare parts but I didnt need them.
I was a little concerned about the quality based on some other reviews, so I was pleasantly surprised by how well everything was packed for shipment. Nothing was damaged. The directions were easy to follow, though some of the screw holes seemed a little small. Took about 90 minutes to put together. I avoided using my electric drill for the majority of it to avoid splitting the wood, as recommended in the directions, but certainly would use it more if I had to do it again.
