Talk about getting blown away. Super strong, bit noisy but to be expected for how strong it blows. Works well for in front of door to pull air through, and works well in work shop situation. Wall mount easy to install, definitely will need a stud to mount it to due to weight of it.
The fan was initially purchased to handle the flow of debris in the house. So, I attached a filter to the fan to rid the particles in the air.
It will be very valuable this Summer when it gets hot in the garage.
I bought this so I wont die, because I live in and I ride my spin bike in the garage. This fan is aming. Its big and puts out air like your driving with your head out the window of a car. It isnt very quiet, but its also a high velocity fan, so thats not to be expected. but it also is Not wildly loud. I def recommend. Probably one of my favorite purchases.
Straight out the box this thing moves air. Previously using one of those plastic pedestal pieces of junk on the highest setting barely noticeable. This thing, lowest setting pushes good air flow. Now compared to plastic it is quite noticeable when it comes to noise but the good definitely out weighs the noise. I would recommend it to someone who would not mind the noise. To be clear, it would be better served as a shop or work fan but I am using it in my attic and as long as it keeps moving air, I dont mind the noise and btw its the blade noise, not the motor and not any vibration noise.
Cant beat the quality, versatility and design for this fan. Buying a fan should be a no brained but everything boils down to design in the end and this one nails it. Really solid construction with great air circulation. Love the option to mount it with little additional effort required. Highly recommend!
There is definitely a high pitch noise a lot of users mentioned here. It comes and goes and in general, its pretty unsettling the first time you hear it. But this is for my outdoor patio gym, and my speakers blast music when I workout so I will learn to live with it. The amount of air this moves is perfect. It makes a huge difference working out in my patio in hot and humid Florida, which is usually sitting around 80 due to no direct sun exposure. If you live in the south, the humidity is what sucks. Airflow helps. I bought this used from for 27 so I have absolutely zero complaints. But full price at 70? Id return it because the noise.
