I wanted a small profile modern side-chair for my narrow living room, And I am very satisfired with the general look, moderately satisfied with the quality and neutral on the comfort. This stylish chair is built for looks, but not for comfort.
The base of the rocker is very nice wood...heavy and sturdy with tight connections. Because it uses wooden dowels as well as screws for assembly, it takes some serious effort to put the base together. I also installed the cross-piece upside down (my bad), and didn't notice it until I had the chair all together. I don't think I can disassemble it without damage, so I caution you to pay attention when you start to tighten all of the pieces together.
The quality of the fabric could be better - the finish is slick. It looks nice, but I don't know if it will stand up to much use before it starts to pill and fray.
The seat is shallow, very firm and narrow, and the back is upright. The armrests are hard. It will not be comfortable for a larger person - I am 5'-5 and 150 lbs. - and is certainly not a lounge-around-on-a-rainy-day chair. Only one of the Three Bears as well as a petite Goldilocks would say it is just right.
As a nursery rocker, it is not adequate. You and your little bundle will not cuddle or nurse comfortably, and you certainly won't be able to fall asleep in it with your baby tucked in your arms.
All that said, for my purposes, I needed a small chair for a narrow space and I like it enough to keep it, although no one in the house is going to fight each other to sit in it. If you imagine hours spent knitting, reading, cuddling and rocking, look for something wider with more cushion.

Good chair for a short time.
We've owned this for 6 months and it feels like you're sitting in a hole. Not happy it hasn't held up.

Comfortable and great quality
Easy to assemble and very comfortable. Cant wait for our baby to be here and use it daily!
Good for Only Goldilocks and Just One of the Three Bears
