Pretty solid construction. The seating is firm upright, so it feels more like bench seating. Its certainly not uncomforable once you get used to the firmness. Good buy for the value. Quick tip with the pillows: Since its only the pillow cases, run out to Target/ (or on of course) find a cheap bed pillow. I think Target has one for $4. Cut it open use the stuffing to fill the pillows. Itll save you some money on buying a bag of cotton filling it works great.
This sofa has nice modern lines, and is really quite easy to put together. When you sit in it, it feels sturdy. A little deep from the front to the backrest, but thats not bad at all. Really a great little couch.
Just received the couch loveseat yesterday. Assembly was easy and straightforward. Note: If you have an issue with one of the screws going in, make sure the line for nut hole is aligned and parallel so a bolt can screw in. Hard to explain but if youve put furniture together before, youll recognize the bolt/nut alignment method.
Not the most comfortable loveseat but definitely solid, functional, and worth the $177. I have it in a small studio living room and its perfect for an office waiting room.
