The package was delivered to the wrong address on my street. Luckily I have nice neighbors and they brought it to to my house. Overall, the assembly started off good. Parts were well marked and the instruction were sufficient. However, the holes inside the cabinet for the door hinges were drilled too far inside and I had to re-drill them to properly fit the door hinges to allow the doors to open fully properly close. Also the small screws for the inside hinges were terrible. I replaced them with more sufficient screws which appropriately secured the hinge to the cabinet. Overall, the cabinet is fine, has a few blemishes but not too noticeable. It matches my dining set and will work fine to display my grandmothers antique Fiesta ware.
I originally gave this two stars because of how arduous and frustrating the assembly was for this. It took forever and the back pieces seemed to be cut incorrectly, making them difficult to install, plus one of them was slightly damaged. HOWEVER, it really is a lovely piece and provides a good amount of storage. If I hadnt had to assemble this, were just judging it by look/function, Id probably give it 5 stars. ..Just dont look too closely at the back, its kind of a mess, but its up against a wall in my house, so thats not really an issue for me.
This cabinet is STUNNING in person if I could make one improvement it would to have the sides in the high gloss so it can stand on its own as a showstopper. The lights inside look awesome and I put some white tape over the wire to conceal it and it took it up to another level. The glass shelves were hard to fit in but once they were in place they felt sturdy and secure
Im using this cabinet to store bathroom and cleaning products so Im very happy that the storage part is metal. But from the outside it looks like a gorgeous piece of furniture. The top is beautiful. I had a little trouble putting the doors on, something still isnt quite right because they do fall off easily. It seems the bottom hinge doesnt sit in the hole provided. I cant figure out what Im doing wrong; something doesnt fit correctly.
