The chairs are really nice but the quality is not the best. I had to throw away one of them cause we made an error when assembling and couldnt go back. The ones that were perfectly assembled are already loosing stability by just using them for a couple of months.
I bought eight of these so by now I am an assembly expert. I am very pleased by the quality for the price. I wasn't ready to commit to a certain style of dining chairs, so decided to buy these as a place holder. I'm actually very pleased with them and will likely use them for quite a while. While we haven't had guests over due to the whole pandemic situation, friends who have seen them via zoom etc. have commented on how nice they look. My five year old can't resist leaning back in them and they have held up to his abuse so far. Also, of note, after reading this complaint on many other chair reviews: as I said above, I bought four sets of tow and they are all identical. Look great!
I really like the look of these chairs. The price was also fair. It would've been nice to have more seat color options with the natural oak finish, I may recover theming the future. Overall they were pretty easy to put together, it helps to have an allen bit set. One complaint is that there weren't any predrilled holes for the seat, or markings to place the seat squarely, so that was a little challenging. I predrilled holes into the wood to avoid cracking. Another review mentioned the lower cross piece on the back hitting your back when you sit on them, it does, but I don't find it too offputting.
Great chairs. There were no pre drilled holes to attach the seat cushion but it was not a big deal. I just used a thin nail and hammer to do this. Then take out the nail and use a screwdriver with the screws. Very easy to do
Assembled pretty easily... I guess you get what you pay for. Once assembled the chairs have some give when you lean back... kind of daunting when you first sit down after initial assembly. Other than that, love the style!
I see a lot of people complaining about the angle of the bolts and being unable to get the hex wrench where it needs to be. if you look at the picture I attatched you'll see that one end of the he wrench has a ball on it that is designed to be used at an angle with the bolt. hope that helps. this can easily be a one person assembly.
These chairs are super comfortable, but it took a really long time to put them together. The instructions say to have two adults put them together. I managed by myself and the only thing I see to be gained by having help is that you could each put a chair together to get done in half the time. Each chair comes with all the needed hardware plus one extra of each item (screws, brackets). Take it slow and regularly check to make sure all four feet touch the ground. The directions say to drop the chair to square it up. That seemed to make things worse. I found that pushing on opposite corners and gently twisting the frame the way it needed to go worked much better. One seat out of four chairs was warped. I thought the square frame would fix the seat, but the seat pulled the frame out of square. Sitting on the chair made all feet touch properly, so I stacked weight on it for a week hoping it would fix the warp. Unfortunately it didnt, so Im trying to figure out how to get it replaced without needing to disassemble everything and rebuild another set. So far the support link through is broken and the manufacturer says they wont support purchases. Ive asked them how I can get support and am waiting to see if they will provide a reasonable solution.

Great chair. Don't understand why people think it's hard to assemble.

Comfy, hard to build, no obvious manufacturer support
