Ive had this desk for about 2 months now and I absolutely love it. It doesnt take up much space but gives me more than enough room for what I need. I currently have a laptop on a stand, a small 2nd monitor, and a medium size vanity mirror on it and it works. I assembled it by myself and it was simple enough. Only reason is that once I got to the very end, one of the holes for the X bracket screws just wasnt opened enough and I was unable to get the screw in. It was already in place against a wall so I just stuck one of the long skinny screws through and got the bracket end perched on that. It isnt secure but I have it against the wall so its enough. Doesnt take away from the desk, just bothers me to know its there.
I love the color of this desk. It matches all my other furniture. It took about an hour to put together by myself. But I wasnt working on it the whole time. Its a perfect fit for the space I had. Kids are happy to have a place for homework, etc.
Once you get it together its a great desk. But it took me 3 hours to put together. Recommend 2 people do this. Some of the instructions seem that they would be better in a different order. Specifically adding the shelves, it would be easier to do before attaching the desk. My hand also got hurt while helping me put 1 of the shelves in place as its very hard to do by yourself as you try to balance them and screw them in at the same time (should have had him help with the whole thing). Also due to the design there isnt a lot of clearance under the desk as there is a 1 inch bar about 3 inches in from the front, so you have to lower the chair to allow it to go all the way under the desk if you have arms on the chair. As others mentioned the side shelves can bow a little so it would be nice if there was a sup bar underneath them, but they dont bow that much and hold my gaming computer well. Color is really nice, light weight and easy to move, and adjustable shelf was great and just the right height for my computer. The hooks that go on the side can also be turned around and face underneath so that side can go against a wall.
I like the desk a lot. I ordered two for my bedroom. One for my computer and one I turned into a vanity make up/hair station. I put them together opposite of eachother so I can use one chair and switch between the desks. It was easy to put together except for one shelf area where b and c connect to the frame is a little difficult to get in a closed space with the alan wrench but I managed it.
