Look, you get what you pay for, which is why Im giving this four stars. If it was above and beyond my expectations it would have gotten 5 stars. This piece is 120 bucks and it is about what you expect it to be. It is NOT high/end, and youre certainly not paying high/end pricing. That being said, it is a decent little piece. I really like it. I t was super easy to assemble. I think it took me and my husband about 15 minutes to put together. The hinge is really tight which is nice, but you definitely need to have a carpet otherwise it will slide on your floor when you try to lift the top. Overall, Im happy with this purchase until I can actually afford high/end furniture.
I received a damaged pieces of the table first but it was replaced with one that was not damaged. The table was fairly difficult to put together, but once it was installed it looked great and has plenty of storage space
I was looking for a lift top table that didnt cost an arm and a leg and finally found this. I was expecting the quality to go way down because of the price but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at how sturdy and great it feels. Much better than ikea quality (which was what I was expecting). The top portion was already assembled, I just had to put the bottom half together which took maybe 15/20 minutes by myself. I definitely recommend this!
I have a small studio, so I wanted a multifunctional desk. This desk looks much classier than I feared, although its still obviously composite wood if you look closely, and it also came with one corner chipped / I think this must be pretty common, because the desk came with a brown marker, apparently meant to cover any blemishes. Its surprisingly sturdy, including when you have the top lifted up / Ive used it as a computer desk, and the top stays up. I like the storage underneath the top, although since the top doesnt open all the way you have to kind of awkwardly reach to get anything / so its best for items you dont use very often. Note that even with the top lifted the desk is pretty low; I use it with a low armchair instead of a desk chair, and I think it would be awkward to use with a taller chair. So make sure to measure things out before buying it. That said, its a nice desk and Ive already received compliments on it because it looks classy.
Marvelous buy for the price and looks really nice. Very easy to assemble. Nice amount of storage space. It comes with a handy marker in case the table gets scratched. Wish my other furniture had those!
