This thing really is great. Its expensive for sure especially if you purchase the base for it. We have not bought the umbrella cover for when its stored but probably will soon.
As far as the product goes, we love it! It offers fantastic shade for the patio seating. It feels plenty sturdy, had it set up in no time at all, and used it often throughout the summer. Never used it much in strong wind. I highly recommend purchasing the base for it. I dont think it would take much wind to tip it without the base.
