We wanted to add to our dining chair collection and I knew I wanted a mid/century vibe; I loved this style chair. I had not seen a padded version. For the price, I was amed at the excellent construction. The legs are so substantial and fit together very quickly and very soundly. Color is perfect as pictured (grey), the chair is comfortable to sit in for long after/dinner chats or board games, and the style worked well with our updated log cabin with industrial/midcentury touches.
