Overall, the bed frame is pretty good for the price. However, the unit I received was missing a headboard button. I contacted customer service and sent them all the pictures and information they wanted, but never heard back from them (going on 3 months at the time of this review). I only requested a new button, as I could easily sew it on myself instead of having to return the whole thing. I would think this would save them a lot of money as well, yet the lack of response makes me think they could care less once they ship a product out the door. They lose a star for quality and customer service. I also took a star away for how little room there is between the bottom of the bed and the floor. You are not going to fit a tote or anything else under there and so you lose all that potential storage space. You also cannot reach very far underneath the bed because of the small space either. My cats are constantly dragging random items under the bed and I cant reach them so its all lost to the void. FYI, this material is not cat proof. They do like sleeping on the headboard though. Besides the aforementioned negatives, this bed frame is okay overall. It seems sturdy so far and doesnt make any noise when there is movement on the bed. There is a board between the mattress and the bed frame slats, so Im not sure how well the slats would hold up with just a mattress sitting on them. I would probably recommend some sort of board to help distribute the weight.
