Frustrating delivery experience and poor customer service
The bed itself is fine. It looks nice and is much more sturdy than the last frame I purchased. I had a little difficulty with one of the side panels because one of the screws was misaligned with the slot it was supposed to go into, but it worked with a little muscle.
However, I am extremely dissatisfied with the delivery process. I had instructions for it to be delivered to my specific apartment, but it was taken to the leasing office instead. Why on earth would I have heavy furniture delivered to a place that is not my actual apartment? I placed the order that way for a reason, because I cannot lift a package this big on my own or fit it into my car.
I contacted customer service twice and both representatives were friendly and helpful, but they both assured me that the driver would return to move the package from the office to my apartment, and that simply never happened. No one ever followed up on the issue. I ended up having to convince a friend with a larger vehicle to help me retrieve it / and if I was going to do that, I might as well have gone to a physical store. I am never making this kind of purchase from ever again. They dont treat their drivers or other workers well enough for them to to be able to do a decent job and provide good customer service, and it shows.
