I really like the low on the floor bunk option for our 2 3 year olds. Im only 53 and the bed of the top bunk is only at my armpit.
?we got 5 mattresses
?still plenty of room on bottom bunk for adult to sit/lay and read books with kiddo
?bonus: flat on floor so toys and dust dont collect underneath
?did not reinforce with extra wooden planks like some reviews mentioned, Im still comfortable laying on top bunk as an adult because of the reinforced bar underneath
?Navy color is a perfect gender neutral
?the slanted ladder is not invasive of floor space, yet gives the kids more confidence in climbing up and down
My only complaint, which isnt even worth knocking a star off, is that the kids push the ladder out with their feet, so the plastic piece connecting ladder to bed is permanently bent.
