Item came in a timely manner in two separate boxes. There are a lot of little screws, nails, and pieces, but as long as you keep track of everything it isnt a big problem. Youll need a flathead, phillips, and hammer to complete this project. There was sawdust in the peg holes and grooves, but if you shake or blow this out outside it it wont get all over the floor.
This isnt a high class $700 piece of furniture, but it also isnt a special. Putting it together took about 2 hours as others have said, but I managed to do it myself with very little effort. I did have to stack some books on the sides when I attached the cabinets, but it wasnt difficult at all. The instructions were actually not that difficult to understand if youve ever had a DYI furniture piece. The only difference is that the pieces of wood arent labeled, so you have to figure out which way they go yourself (again, not difficult). I ended up with a few extra screws and lots of pegs that werent necessary but nice that I was given extras just in case.
The finished product looks very good indeed. Cabinets close perfectly with magnetic pieces without sticking or closing properly. Remarkably strong as it has 6 feet on the bottom that are all adjustable (4 in the corners and two in the middle), and it is able to hold my 60 without any problems. The shelving has grooves cut into the wood to allow the pegs to fit snugly which does not allow the shelf to slide everywhere. Nice.
Overall with a little time and patience, this is an excellent piece for the money! I would encourage anyone to buy this piece and not be taken away by the time required to put it together. Im satisfied and hopefully you will be too.
Not bad!
