Absolutely IN LOVE. Bought to upgrade 7 year old daughters room and created such a wonderful space for her! My husband was able to get up on the bed so I can safely say the slats hold 220lbs but you could see them flex with his weight. Additionally the stairs (steps themselves) wouldnt hold much over 150lbs. For the price this bed is phenomenal! Very pleased with this purchase
