the only issue we had with assembly was some of the letters on the individual pieces were painted over so we were having a hard time figuring out what the letters of a couple pieces were. Besides that it took 1 person, with intermittent help when needed, about 3 hours to assemble. My daughter loves it and I love the extra space she now has in her really small room. The desk space is huge and with this online learning stuff going on she is able to spread her work out and still have decorations on her desk! I would totally buy again Great Buy
