I love this bedframe. I sanded the edges before I put it it together with just a piece of sandpaper, and used a countersink drill bit to place the screw holes below the surface of the wood, so it wont snag on the mattress or sheets. You could use a big drill bit just to set the screws down a bit, if you dont have one of those bits, so the screws dont stick up. The instructions were spot on, and I followed along with the video to get it right. If you have put together any furniture, you will know to take an inventory first thing, so you know what the parts are, and know that they are all there. I read the reviews of people who put the bed together correctly (yes, you have to follow the instructions) and used those hints. The bed went together perfectly. The wood is really nice, a soft hardwood, and I feel like its sturdy and should last a long time. I may set it up and try it out myself, just for the heck of it.
