Very sturdy. Perfect for my 15 year old and 4 year old who share room. Lots of room in between to sit up without hitting your head at the top. Also great for small spaces. The ladder is flat slates which makes it easy to climb (doesnt hurt feet at all like other bunk ladders) and entry way is easy access to the the top bunk. It works great! Thank you!
