The concept is great, the height is perfect.. I like the price and am willing to assemble the bed ourselves for it.
The instructions were ok, but the Allen wrench they give you is tiny and the screws are as long as your hand. I suggest having an Allen wrench set handy and as many as 2-3 people assembling. Otherwise, you may screw the screws at a bad angle leaving your overall boards uneven? We had 2+ perfectionists doing it, so our bed came out great with no slanted boards.
Sturdiness: the bed rocks/wobbles with every movement. Not sure if this is going to be a problem or WHEN it will be a wear and tear thing. We have had it up for only 6 weeks and there is no squeaking issues. We are happy with the bed overall, but you do get what you pay for. I have to remind my 8 year old not to play on it. I slept in it for the last three nights (adult size) which is why I feel confident in writing this review. I would not recommend this bed for adults only because we have not had it long enough to test out the lifespan. Again, every move made on it, the bed moved/swayed. We have thick carpeted floors, maybe thats the issue.
