So I thought these had storage in the stairs, I was very disappointed that they did not. I also feel like the quality could be better for the price. The paint job is absolutely horrible and very patchy and globby in some places. It does seem pretty sturdy, Ill give it that.. Assembly wasnt terribly bad, the instructions really arent the best though, took us a afternoon to build. All in all my boys love it though. So Im happy with it in that aspect. The slide is their favorite part.
