The frame is everything they said it was. Sturdy, easy to assemble and it looks good for the money. I believe we made a good purchase. I even bought a queen size for our guest bedroom. I am older, and the frame is taller than our old bedframe. So, when they say you dont need the box spring, its true. If you do use the box spring, you might need an elevator, cuz that mattress is going to be UP THERE!
