I waited a few weeks to submit this review so that I would have a good idea of the value of this sofa. First off, the shipping was CRAZY fast! I ordered this sofa on Friday and it was delivered the following Thursday, 2 weeks sooner than the estimated delivery time! Assembly was fairly easy. I am a small 60 year old woman and I was able to unpack and assemble this myself in less than 45 minutes. I did unpack the cushions the evening before so that they would have plenty of time fluff up before I put the cushion covers on them. I recommend ironing the cushion covers before you put them on as they come pretty wrinkled and the sofa looked sloppy until I removed and ironed them. The seat cushions are OK, but as others have said the back cushions are pretty thin. They have to be because anything thicker would take up too much of the seat space. The photos make this sofa look much more substantial or bigger than it actually is. This is a sofa for small people! I am 52 so its OK for me. I can sit down and my feet easily reach the floor, but anyone taller or much bigger will find the seat area too small. When I lay down on it, while the length is good, the width of the seat is narrow and not very comfortable. I bought this sofa so that my dog and I could cuddle up on it this winter. She loves to lay on the chaise, but that is really the only comfortable part of this sofa. As they say, you get what you pay for and this sofa was pretty cheap. I do like the color and material, but I doubt it would stand up to any real use by a family, let alone children!. I seriously considered sending it back but considering the cost of return shipping and the thought of trying to get it all back into the boxes Ive decided to keep it for now, or until I can find someone that wants a sofa for looks alone.
