I agree with a few of the previous comments, it took me about 2 1/2 hours to put the bed together and I had difficulty on a few of the parts since some of the holes were a fraction of a centimeter off! Very frustrating, but I made it work. After putting the bed together I realized the smell was horrific. It smelled like wood but it was not pleasant. However I lit some candles and sprayed some fabreze and smell was gone! Last thing I didnt like was that the LED was a tiny strip of light. Was not a whole bar like the picture shows. Im only giving 4 stars because I do LOVE how it looks. My mattress is 14 and I just think it looks great and is perfect height. If you have a smaller mattress though, this bed is VERY low to the ground so you might not be too happy. All in all Im a little torn of what to think about this set. I would do more research to make sure you definitely like it before spending almost $500
