In search for a bedframe that was stylish, I eventually stumbled upon the Tokyo Bronze Metal Bed. This would go along with my newly purchased mattress, so I needed to find something that would pair nicely and would be fairly easy to assemble. Reading the reviews, it seemed like itd be a daunting task, but Im here to say it wasnt really all that bad.
Upon arrival to my house, the package was quite heavy, even with all the disassembled parts. The instructions included are fairly easy to follow and if you just sort the parts into piles, youll have this assembled within an hour or two. Its helpful because all the parts are labeled, so theres no confusion in figuring out if you have the right parts to work with.
The feel of the parts are a little rough with the paint on it, but I cant see how that would be a problem for anyone. After two months of usage, the only problem I encountered was some slight squeaking, which can be easily fixed by tightening the screws that support the bed from the bottom (the side that supports the slats). My wife and I find this bedframe to be elegant and affordable. For reference, this bed is used by two individuals, 140 lbs and 130 lbs. There isnt any squeaking when rolling around to get comfortable or anything of the sort.
Overall, I would recommend this bed if you are looking for something that looks nice and is very affordable. My recommendation however, is to assemble it with one other person, as that can definitely make things a lot easier.
Affordable and pleasant!
