Looks nice and sturdy. This is a great little sofa for an extra room or an additional one for a living room. The material is soft and has a velveteen feel and is a deep beautiful blue. Its fairly easy to assemble and seems pretty sturdy but definitely not for the very tall (over 6 2) or heavy person (over 250 lbs) Its a very fair price and the delivery charge is nominal. We put ours in a minimally used spare room and it looks just beautiful!
