It went together pretty easily (although the instructions are not too instructive) as long as you pay close attention to the details in the photos to orient the legs. The bed is sturdy, nice wood, and fairly low on the ground as I wanted. You can lay your mattress right on it, no need for a box spring. Definitely a fine quality product from a company that takes pride in doing things right.
