Smart design. So we bought both the memory foam mattress and bed frame at the same time. They were high size and the mattress is the 12 one. We havent slept on it yet because the frame had just come in. The packaging is great everything was shipped inside the headboard which is really cool and compact. The set up wasnt too bad either about 20 min or so. But then the back of the frame that goes in the middle isnt touching the ground and when we put the mattress on it over hangs a good 1.5. Which is really interesting considering theyre the same brand and youd expect a perfect fit. It doesnt seem like a big deal but its really noticeable with the contrast of the frame and our sheets. Also the backboard looks really small with a 12 mattress and when you put your pillows laying flat all you see is one row of buttons. We have decor pillows which if we put on would cover the whole headboard. So thats my 2 cents.

I contacted and they were great and helped take care of the issue.
