These were the easiest stools to put together. It took no more than 15 minutes to assemble both stools. They are made of what seems to be a metal coated plastic and seem pretty sturdy. They rise up to about 3 1/2-4 feet and lower to around 2 1/2-3 feet. They say the weight limit is 300 lbs and I weigh 220 and the stools felt completely sturdy when I sat in them. The only downside is that the backs arent very high so Id recommend watching little kids while they are sitting in them. Overall I am very satisfied with these stools. I will reccomend them to friends and family.
