Contemporary looking stools - great if you have white are dark wood surfaces

This set of two bar stools come in a box and require some assembly but the build is not challenging. They have a modern matte black finish to all the steel work and a gas lift to adjust the height of the seat. The seats have a low backrest which is about 30cm high and are padded with a PU leatherette covering. The PU covering is also in a matte black finish and diamond-shaped stitched quilting on the seat and the inside of the backrest. The style is overtly contemporary with a matte finish and the diamond-pattern quilting looks elegant and modern. The matte black looks good against white surfaces especially if they have a gloss finish but they are look good against dark wood surfaces. These stools are fairly sturdy and easily suitable for a breakfast bar in the kitchen and they wouldnt look out of place in a man cave. The gas lift action is as you would expect - its nice and smooth but to reduce the height of the chair you really need to be sitting on the stool so that your weight applies enough pressure. The base is circular and a shallow concave cone. This means that its a bit awkward to hoover over but it wipes easily with a duster or cloth. These are not the cheapest stools that I have had but they look much more contemporary than others on the market. I particularly like the matte finish.
