Easy to put together if you follow the instructions. Assembled by myself. Color is not white which I kind of knew from previous reviews. It is more of a light grey. Unfortunately there is a small dent in the headboard. I really needed to get the bed together as I had a guest coming to stay in a new condo purchased recently as a winter home so overlooked it. I probably should have called at the time, however was cry busy moving in and cutting up tons of boxes from other items purchased. Too bad as I read a few reviews that said parts of their bed was dented too. Put a mattress on it which took some time to expand. About 3 days. not happy at all
