my partner(61, 240lbs) and I (50 135lbs) built this bed in less than 1hrs. its very simple and straight forward to build. We fit comfortably with plenty room for each and our boxer dog 60lbs fits in cozy. My room is all white so I love how well this Gem fits in. Easy to assemble just takes a while
