Comes in four heavy boxes. Each box is a separate piece. Start with any of the three smaller boxes and the last one is the large one. Assemble on a carpeted area and DO NOT put the three main pieces together to finish the base until its in where you want it. Sturdy. Well constructed. Great piece. Easy set up.
