    Exceeded all expectations

After trying 8 other chairs, ranging from ergonomic office chairs to high end traditional executive chairs, and even high end gaming chairs, I decided to finally give this a try. I was just too skeptical it could be as good as the reviews at this price. I had just returned a $2,300 chair and couldnt imagine how a sub $300 chair would be remotely comparable, let alone better in ways. First, there is a reason for the good price. It doesnt have all the bells and whistles some chairs have, like adjustable compressed air lumbar support, adjustable head pillow, extendable leg rest, or motorized reclining. If those are a must have, there are good options. Theyre pricey, but still good quality. However, I found myself in the position I think most people would when looking for an office chair. I never really used a lot of the bells and whistles. I set the back upright and didnt need to recline. Pulling a footrest out just wasnt a natural sitting position. And the adjustable lumbar support was either so minimal it was a joke, or I just could never find a setting that felt perfect for a long session at my desk. So after being sick and tired of spending so much money on different chairs that werent doing the trick, I got this and I cant believe it. First, it was packaged perfectly, which kept all the parts in great shape when I opened it. Second, I couldnt be more pleased with how it looks. I got the one with the diamond stitched look on the seat and back. The combination of the diamond quilted style, along with the almost cream colored stitches gives it an exquisite look. The armrest connection pieces are plastic. But they are a very sturdy, high quality plastic, and have a nice look to them. Its like they didnt try fool anyone by trying to make it look like metal. And as a result, it doesnt look cheap or tacky. Setup was pretty easy. I will say, though, if you can set it up with another persons help, do so. It wasnt a nightmare by myself. But it would have been notably easier, as I had to do it slightly different from the instructions (I attached the back to the seat with one armrest, then attached the second armrest. It was too tight to squeeze and hold it in place while screwing the armrests in by myself). As for the feel, I dont want to sound like Im saying anything negative about it. But its perfect in the way its meant to be. Its a desk chair that simply feels good and I dont have any back pain after hours in it (or at least it doesnt make existing back issues worse). In other words, its the Goldilocks of chairs. Its not too fancy. The material isnt some insanely supple hand stitched Italian leather. It wont give you a massage, or whisper words of affirmation into your ears as you work. But its a very solid, good looking chair that seems to have found the perfect balance between support and comfort, without going overboard on any gimmicks. If you want a no-nonsense, good quality chair that you can just sit in without fuss and get your work done, this is the chair for you. If youre hesitant because the price feels like it might be garbage, dont be. Youll be so happy you got it and saved the money.
