    Average Trampoline...

Trampoline was delivered in two boxes. Very well packaged, no complaints. Instructions were sub-par on many areas. The YOUTUBE video I found on installation did no help a lot of questions and issues. -support/braces are not manufactured correctly. Not only do the support bars not hug or conform around the bar they are trying to support, the bars attach by a bolt with a square fitting for the head of the bolt that is supposed to fit into a square notch at the post.. ONLY PROBLEM IS..... The post has an elongated notch, so when you try and tighten the nut on the other side, the head of the bolt just spins instead of tighten. I have no Idea how Im going to tighten these support braces. -instructions are lacking for the support posts. They are to be installed in a certain way so a hole at the top of the post is on the right side. I didnt figure that out until 3 steps further. Had to take parts off and re-install right way. -the basketball backboard/net is just poorly made. wont last 2 days with kids. Im going have to fabricate a new one soon. THAT was ridiculous. -The padding around the edge is lacking in... padding. Also lacks a GOOD method of attaching the padding/protecting in place. it has about 6 clips and requires about 20. whoever thought of that whole idea failed miserably. -The metal safety bar with fixing nut for the netting is absolutely maddening to put together. opposite threads on each side of the bar, and trying to bend (2) metal bars without cross-threading while tension is fighting you is just not wise. A simple tent-stake style elastic /metal connection would have done nicely. -This is my first trampoline installation. This makes me want to manufacture trampolines and create instructions that actually make sense. The good side? The springs and netting are constructed well. Kids love it for now. I may add photos later...
