Well built, compact, ideal for keeping spare fuel in a pickup truck.

I used to keep an empty plastic gas can in the cab of my pickup in case I got stranded or came across someone else who was stranded. Having used larger cans before, I was willing to give this a shot as an alternative, and actually keep it filled with gasoline (and PRI-G as a stabilizer) in the toolbox of my truck. Despite being in fair levels of heat, there has never been a hint of odor coming out of the can or in my toolbox, which means that the more volatile components are properly sealed inside and no fumes or liquid leaks. I actually used this can at one point to deal with someone asking for money for gas in a parking lot. I happened to have enough spare fuel on hand to be able for the guy to drive his family home, and I didnt have to take out my wallet or deal with any of the potential risk associated with that. I will recommend four things: 1) Before you put a drop of gasoline in this, familiarize yourself with the latching mechanism, mount the nozzle and adapter, and get a sense for how they work. Its waaaaay easier to do that when the can is empty than when its full. 2) If youre planning on carrying this around a lot or keeping it in a vehicle, consider zip ties or some other means of securing the adapter and nozzle to the can so they dont get separated. Theres a mount for the nozzle, but zip ties will keep it from getting knocked off and also allow you to secure the adapter. 3) A funnel is a good companion to this. The nozzle and adapter are decent, but the last ~5% of the fuel in the can is hard to get out with the nozzle attached because of the shape of jerry cans. 4) IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH A ITEM ORDERED ON , CONTACT DIRECTLY. The company actually has fantastic customer support, and Ive been very pleased with them. Its better for them, you, and if your issue warrants anything other than a straight return.
