Pretty sturdy. Good size. These are nice chairs. Very firm. My kids dont like them, but maybe thats a good deterent for them to stay off of them. They were easy to assemble, took my husband and I all of 15 minutes to put both together.
One of the back pieces was smooshed in transit and looks a bit off which is why I took 1 star. Other than that they are great!
