Aesthetically, this couch is everything Ive ever wanted. But to sit on for any amount of time wow I would not recommend. Your butt will start to hurt fairly quickly and youll have to adjust often. I cant speak to the comfort as a futon, but do NOT make this your main sitting couch. On the upside, was beyond easy to put together and was delivered super fast. Will probably become a futon in an extra room or something and Ill buy another couch for sitting.
