This item is much darker in person than it appears in the photos, but it worked fine for my space. One piece arrived broken. I contacted the manufacturer who was very prompt and polite in their response. Sadly, the broken piece is not in stock and it is going to take 30-45 days until they can send it out. They did offer a $40 refund in case I didnt want to wait so long, but I didnt think I could find a suitable part to replace it. I am lucky it was not a structural piece, so I assembled it and am using it as is.
Assembly took about 3 hours between my husband and I (mostly me) putting it together. There are no written instructions, just diagrams showing which pieces and hardware you need to use in that step. It did confuse me a few times and I had to undo and redo a few steps. I definitely needed his help for a few steps.
All in all, this buffet looks very nice for the price and will look even nicer when the broken part is here and screwed on. I was concerned about how sturdy it would be as I was assembling it, but once it was all together it is in fact quite sturdy. I will update this review when the broken part has arrived and is replaced and add photos of the finished product.
