easy assemble, exactly as expected, space saver. Its a good bed. Works great for my 4 and 2.5 year old. I rated it a 4 because the ladder is only attached at one point and swings out and bounces when they climb on it. They can push it out easily and its wobbly now. I wish it had more attachment points or a sturdier connection because the bolts are now bent from them climbing on it.
