Putting this thing together was a little annoying. Mainly because you will need a minimum of two people. A third would help but not needed. Being a larger person it can be a little shaky when climbing into bed for the night. As for the desk portion. It is great. Although it would be nice if you could fit a larger display without it being stopped from going back from the shelf just over the desk. Otherwise its great.
