The retail park manufacturers have been a bit slow on the uptake with the mid century modern trend, perhaps seeing it as a passing fad they dont want to invest in. This reasonably priced media stand, then, is a game stab at the look: its of decent quality and easily assembled if you are familiar with flatpack furniture.
However, I think most people would want from repro style furniture is an authentic look, and this fails here with the peculiar embossed pattern on the front presentation. They really should have left that alone, as it transforms what might have been a nice repro style to something a bit naff, a bit 1955s.
Its also not deep enough to hold a record deck, which Im sure many of its potential customers own.
Gets the aesthetic wrong
